PowerCMD is command prompt replacement for those who work on command prompt a lot. Unlike the command prompt which comes with Windows, it has many features which enhances the GUI and allows you to do things not possible in traditional command prompt.

Tabbed Command Prompts

It allows you to group command prompt under different panels or they can be tabbed in a pane with different titles. You can easily open new command prompts as well and groups them easily.

Enhanced Text Editing

It supports enhanced text editing features such as selecting text with mouse, Mouse left double clicking to select a word, drag and drop text, copying text to clipboard and many others.

Bookmarks

You can easily add a bookmark, and easily move between bookmarks.

AutoSave Logs

You can save the output of consoles automatically. This is very useful if the console or your computer unexpectedly quits, and can provide you the history logs of consoles conveniently.

Auto Completion

With auto completion, the files under the current directory can be easily accessed saving time.

Ever wanted to browse your favorite website without actually being connected to Internet? Using HTTrack you can rip any website and browse it locally on your computer. You can download complete websites from Internet to a folder of your choice. Download web pages, images, and other files to your computer from any website.

You can update the local copy of the website, pause or resume the download. It follows the links of the original website, and downloads the files recursively to a local directory, rearranges the hyper-links structure of the local copy.

It runs on Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP and on Linux, BSD as well. It uses a web crawler to download the files from the website. However, some parts of the website may not be downloaded due to robots exclusion protocol. You can disable the option to follow the robots exclusion protocol if you want to download the complete website even if the website follows the robots exclusion protocol.

This cool trick which allows you to download the yahoo messenger exe directly skipping the boring installer. All you need to do is add a “Y”

Then add a ‘y’ before the exe name. So, now it’ll look like -
