Hide Webpages as MS Office files ! ! !

This tool is pretty cool and comes out as a result of people scared of visiting websites in office as they can be caught by the boss and loose impression. All it does is it opens a pop up window which allows you to read web pages but that pop up looks like a Microsoft office Word 2003 document.

So if your boss shows up just hover the boss key and some random paragraphs will be displayed. However there is not much benefit of this, as you loose all formatting and Images don’t load. In short its like a text browser. So happy working and Just give it a try at WorkFriendly

Acrobat Brio

After the recent announcement of Acrobat Online Office Suite what attracted me best out of it the Acrobat Brio - An online Meeting Application which is integrated with it. Though it allows only 3 people to connect together but its worth.

Other features which Includes Office Suite and Acrobat Share did not impress me that much. I would still prefer using Microsoft Office with Drop Box for collaboration which is the fastest of all, but there is no match for the meeting feature it has. I am totally blown with the simplicty and effectiveness.

It includes voice, webcam, desktop sharing and chat, almost everything one would require for an online meeting. If you have an good internet speed Acrobat Brio will work like a charm.

But it has many limitations on the other side:

1. Only 3 people connect with each other.
2. You can not convert more than 5 dcoument into PDF. ( NOW is adobe running out of resource ? )
3. Google Docs got search inbuilt but Acrobat doesnt have it.
4. How about browsers or people who block FLASH ?

Its good try and Acrobat might need to do something about it soon if they really want to compete. But still You better give it a try and see how it suits you. Visit Acobat and enjoy it.
